The primitive inspiration of this piece is the concept of a Chinese term called “Xin Xiang”, translated literally as “the scene of the heart(mind)”, which may also be referred to as the “spiritual world”. The “Spiritual world” exists in everyone’s mind as a formation of memories, dreams, meditations and illusions, a combination of realistic and unrealistic, a reflection of emotions, attachment, and aspiration...

Between Worlds: 2019 invites audiences to enter an excerpt from the artist’s "spiritual world" formed by solemn landscapes and mysterious scenes.

Trapped into the center of the virtual world, the audience will be immersed in an artistic, dreamlike memory by watching the change of the scenes along with the music.

The purpose of this project is to provide an immersive experience of being in an imaginary world inspired from the “spiritual world” as art therapy for people who are looking for a mind relaxation free them up temporarily from the real world.
