The abandoned memory depicts the impression of a small town which has experienced catastrophic typhoon and has been forgotten by everyone. The skyscrapers from recent cities have risen again after rebuild, whereas the small town is fading away from our memory...
The inspiration for this piece is a serious hurricane happened in my hometown Shenzhen in September 2018. The city recovered quickly after the disaster but many recent towns reminded the same.
WORK OF PROCESS
The technical method is creating 360-degree digital art from scratch based on a distorted perspective reference and re-correct the details after converting the image into a spherical view on Photoshop.
